Tray Warning

We have had confirmation from Royal Mail that the way to work out the average is by dividing the total of eligible items by the Number (of SSCs).

Therefore, as per this example, it calculates the average to work out as 23.84 where dividing the amount of eligible items (20,888) by the total number of SSCs (876).

As suggested in the warning message, the user should select bags unless the answer is Yes to the question,  "...is Trays with extra rejects more economical?".

We have had our development team looking into this problem and they have identified that this data does not have the sufficient volume of large letters to fulfill the minimum requirement for trays.  Even if some records are withdrawn it is still unable to climb to the required average caused by the extensive amount of SSCs.  For example, where each tray is equal to 1 SSC there are approximately 1500 SSCs in this one job and therefore cannot meet the minimum requirement.

This data will need to be sent by ‘Bags’ to make this job qualify.  Please try and make arrangements with your accounts manager to send this job out in bags in the meantime.
